Sem 2 Week 2

ENVIRONMENT MODELLING, TEXTURING I started modelling two of my environments in maya, the bedroom and the outside of the supermarket. I’ve been playing around a lot with mesh lights, textures and adding pngs. I really do need to explore redshift to get more high quality renders and have access to better texture but this is good for a place holder. Next week I’m hoping to finish modelling my other environments. 

Sem 2 Week 1

  PLANNING AND RESHOOTS This week I’ve felt a little under the weather as I’ve just gotten my wisdom teeth out :( So I made my goals smaller and achievable for this week.  I made a simple, updated GANTT chart for semester 2 and did some stop motion reshoots (with a home set up this time!) as I noticed when compiling my rough cut I accidentally cut off some of the footage by using a square film ratio.  I ended up refilming my first scene where he makes a drink and the last scene where he’s in bed. I also edited some shots realising that his hand had fell out of his socket without me realising. So I editing that back in photoshop. Next week I’m hoping to start modelling all my other environments and with feedback I received from Alice this week I’m confident in my vision and abilities. I need to make sure my edges are nice and round and polished and I want to experiment more with texturing, adding different finishes and patterns. Here’s an updated version of my roughcu...
